This meal was so satisfying. Everyone at the table could only talk about how much they’d love to meet the chef and how good their food was. Corn bread - soft and buttery sweet corn flavor with crumbly bites. I knew I was in for a great experience once I tasted these Crab Mac & cheese - so creamy with a rich Smokey flavor that doesn’t overpower the crab and pasta. Definitely recommend. Bang Bang Shrimp - incredible orange chicken-like, but less sweet, shrimp over lettuce. Incredible shrimp, the lettuce is just happy to be included. Excellent as a lighter appetizer. BBQ Beef ribs - incredible bbq. Meat falls off the bone. The way the fat has rendered into the beef makes every bite so satisfying. Shrimp & Grits - I took some grits from my wife and it was also incredible, of course.

My husband and I loved this spot! From the entry, the kind ladies there on 7/4/26 at 8pm, were amazing in helping to make sure my husband with severe soy and nut allergies could eat there. We chose to seat at the bar and loved the ladies there too! It felt like family was feeding us. They made sure there was no cross contamination and that we could comfortably eat there. Then the food!!! The food came on time and it was HEAVEN! Get that corn bread! And the bbq beef short ribs. And the shrimp & grits 😮‍💨🤤. Kelsey’s needs to open a spot up in Jersey City! The ambience was amazing. There was live music and his voice was beautiful. Only downside was we wished we had been able to speak to someone when we called to make a reservation before heading there. The AI answering machine kept taking us in a loop. We don’t regret sitting at the bar though. It still was a 10/10 experience. Thank you Kelsey’s

Beautiful atmosphere, live music, and amazing food! My husband made this a destination restaurant he wanted to try, and it was well worth the visit. We traveled from Cleveland, Ohio, and had a wonderful experience. Everything was outstanding—from the drinks and appetizers to our entrées. The food was delicious, the ambiance was inviting, and the live music made the experience even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again!

First time coming here,didn't know what to expect. Made reservations and we all showed up on time. 13 of us at two tables with kids also. 🙌🙌🙌 hands down to this place. The food was definitely delicious. The cornbread and collar greens, macaroni and cheese, chicken, ribs, crabcakes, yams and drinks was amazing. Even my nephew who is autistic had and amazing time at your restaurant. Definitely worth coming to Atlantic city to eat and enjoy some good music.

Came to Kelsey for the first time and it wasn’t too bad. For the appetizers we ordered the cornbread basket and the catfish nuggets. We all agreed that those two appetizers were great choices. As for my meal I got the chicken and waffles. You have the choice of ordering plain or red velvet waffles. I ordered the plain and I did enjoy my waffles. As for the chicken it was just okay. I’ve had way better fried chicken. My dad and sister got the shrimps and grits but both of them said that their grits were cold so they didn’t enjoy their meals as much. As for my mom she barely touch her food because she said her pork chops were way too salty for her. Overall the appetizers were delicious and were a hit but the entrees were a bit of a miss. As for the service it was awesome and the ambiance is a vibe.
